The Problem
Chronic Stress

While I can help you with a wide range of concerns, my focus is around modern STRESS, a sneaky enemy to our health because it often goes unnoticed and builds up gradually over time. Unlike acute stress, which is a natural short-term response to a perceived threat, STRESS can be chronic and ongoing, affecting us on a physical, emotional, and mental level. It can trigger unhealthy habits and manifest in a variety of ways (e.g. insomnia, fatigue and digestive issues) and can lead to more serious health problems over time (chronic illness), including cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, autoimmune-, digestive-, and mental health-disorders (e.g. depression and anxiety). Furthermore, modern STRESS can be caused by everyday life situations such as work, social media, and financial concerns, making it hard to escape and manage. It's important to recognize the signs of STRESS to develop healthy coping mechanisms to prevent it from negatively impacting our health and well-being.

Integrative Nutrition

Integrative Nutrition is a holistic approach to health and well-being that extends beyond just dietary choices. It encompasses the idea that nutrition isn't solely about the food we eat but also about nourishing various aspects of our lives. This includes areas like career, relationships, physical activity, and spirituality, which we refer to as "primary foods." In essence, Integrative Nutrition recognizes the interconnectedness of these primary foods and dietary choices, viewing them as equally important in determining overall health. It emphasizes a personalized and balanced approach to nutrition and lifestyle, aiming to improve not only physical health but also mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Integrative Nutrition encourages individuals to make conscious and sustainable choices that lead to a more fulfilling and vibrant life.
